The archive is built in this page. Text, CSV, logs, and BMP files shrink a lot. Files that are already compressed — JPEG, PNG, MP4, PDF, DOCX — barely shrink at all, and this tool reports that honestly instead of showing an invented number.

Choose by outcome
Viewing, converting, counting, checking, compressing, and bundling each have a different “done” state. Start with the result you need, then verify the output before you share it.
Open the existing file in the browser viewer. Re-converting it only adds another chance for layout changes.
Preview the rendered output, use the print dialog deliberately, and reopen the saved PDF to check page breaks.
Use signals and counts as editing information, then confirm the destination's own rules and keep the draft history.
Measure image compression or ZIP output from your actual files. Already-compressed formats may not shrink.

The score is a reference metric built from writing patterns such as sentence length and repetition. It does not identify an author or determine plagiarism, so use it as one input before submitting work.
Document conversion stays in your browser and does not upload your file. The optional server model sends pasted text only after you consent. Read the privacy noticefor the current boundary.
Browser tools are free with no sign-up. The optional server model has a small daily allowance and stops when that limit is reached; there is no paid checkout, subscription, or overage billing.

A photo straight from a phone or camera usually drops 60 to 90 percent at quality 75, and converting to WebP saves more again. An image that is already optimised may not shrink at all. The tool measures the actual result and hands back the original if re-encoding would make it bigger. Read the image guide.
Because they were already compressed. JPEG, PNG, MP4, MP3, PDF, DOCX, XLSX and HWPX all contain compressed data, so a ZIP has almost nothing left to remove. ZIP still helps for text, CSV, logs, BMP and SVG, and for bundling many files into one download. Read the file size guide.
