By using Document Forge you accept the terms below. They are deliberately short and specific about what the tools do not promise.
Who provides the service
Document Forge is provided by 김성진 (Seoul, South Korea). Notices under these terms should be sent to tttksj404@gmail.com.
What the service is
Document Forge provides document previews, a print-ready PDF save view, character counts, and a statistical writing-signal reference. Browser tools are free and need no account. An optional server writing model has a small daily allowance and stops at that limit. All features are provided as-is. You are responsible for the files and text you submit and for reviewing every result before relying on it.
Limits you must not misread
- The writing score is not a verdict. It is a statistical description of a text sample. It is not an authorship determination, a plagiarism finding, an academic-integrity decision, or evidence that a human or a machine produced anything. It must not be used as the basis for disciplining, grading, dismissing, or accusing a person. Its readings are systematically elevated for second-language writers, technical documentation, and template-constrained prose.
- PDF saving is a print workflow. It reproduces text reliably and layout approximately. It is not a promise of visual fidelity for any source format, and it does not preserve comments, tracked changes, form fields, or document security settings.
- Legacy HWP rendering has limits. It happens locally in the browser and opens a print-ready view for you to save as PDF. Fonts, tables, page breaks, and embedded objects can differ from the source application, so you must inspect the saved PDF before relying on it.
- The guides are general information. They are not legal, academic, medical, or professional advice.
Free allowance and advertising
Browser tools are provided free of charge without an account. The optional server writing model has a small daily allowance and stops when that allowance is exhausted; it does not create a paid balance or an unbounded charge. Advertising may support the service only after the visitor's optional-cookie choice and is not an endorsement of any advertised product. Never click an advertisement to support the service.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service to process malware, unlawfully obtained documents, or content you are not authorised to handle. Do not attempt to bypass upload limits or rate limits, overload the service, scrape it at machine scale, probe other visitors' sessions, or interfere with its operation. Do not present output from this site as an authoritative determination about a person. Do not republish the guides wholesale; short quotations with a link are welcome.
Access may be limited or refused where use threatens the availability or security of the service.
Intellectual property
The site's text, layout, code, and brand marks belong to the operator or its licensors. You keep every right in the documents and text you process; the service claims no licence over them, and in the default browser path it never receives them. Referenced formats and trademarks — including HWP and HWPX, PDF, and the names of any advertising or browser vendors — belong to their respective owners, and this site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of those companies.
Advertising
The service may display advertising to cover its costs. Advertising loads only after you allow optional cookies, and the parties involved are named in the privacy notice. Advertisements are labelled, are kept out of the tool's working area, and are never disguised as site content or navigation. Do not click advertisements to support the site, and do not use automated means to generate impressions or clicks; both are prohibited by the ad network and by these terms. No revenue, ad delivery, traffic, or approval by any ad network is guaranteed.
Availability and changes
The service may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn. Features that depend on a converter, an external model, an advertising network, or a hosting provider may become unavailable without notice. Material changes to these terms will be reflected in the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the revised terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or the consequences of a decision taken on the basis of a result produced by these tools. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid for the affected transaction, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
Keep your own copies of anything that matters. The default workflow gives the operator no copy of your documents, so lost work cannot be recovered from us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable at the operator's place of establishment, Seoul, South Korea, and disputes are subject to the courts competent there, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
